Right now, I believe that getting out a new revision is important enough 
to justify moving the half-finished features to a topic branch.  It has 
become evident that they aren't going to be finished any time soon, so I'd 
rather revert to the old behavior than postpone the next release 
indefinitely or ship inconsistent code.
