  I started with it right around that time, perhaps late 2001.  I
noticed *tremendous* improvements in usability over those years.

  Well yeah, I turn off magnetic net mode too.  But seriously, you've
seen no usability improvements?

  I dunno about you, man...but when I dislike something this much, I
dump it.
