Maybe you misunderstood my post. Does g77 have an f2c emulation mode?

I did it for compatibility reasons... not really to do Fortran programming
myself (I have enough to do :-)
Of course I know about g77 ... as explained in my previous post, I thought
netCFD specificly needed the f2c executable to build correctly, so I went
through the hassle of getting the sources and built it first.

The point is: does anyone else want it?

If no, it's no big deal. That's all.
