occurr when the port hasn't been updated for some time (or completed at
all).

Why not try OpenGL? Very much unlike Crystal Space, The OpenGL API is an
acccepted standard in graphics programming. And I am sure that the latest
MESA/OpenGL sources are *very* DJGPP compatible, as Daniel Borca is doing a
lot to provide a quality DJGPP port.

I helped Daniel test the new VGA driver, so the next release will work on
NT-based systems, too.

BTW: the next major drop of PythonD will probably have a working OpenGL
module, we are just waiting on Daniel's glut modifications.
