DOS sessions under XP appear to behave almost identically to those under
Windows 2000 (the bad news). The good news is the binaries built on
http://clio.rice.edu/djgpp/win2k/main.htm have not had any Win2K or XP
specific reported bugs in their usage - at this point we believe they
behave the same as under the other DOS environements.

The last observered Win2K/XP specific problems were fixed in CVS around a
month ago. If you are a developer and don't mind rebuilding images and
distributions - I wouldn't be afraid of Windows 2000 or XP (they are
much more stable than any other MS stuff). If you are not comfortable
re-building images with patched libraries you should probably go with
one of the older MS offerings.
