can u explain how fat GNU is. and is it the compiler? or did i
mis-interpret it
it started as a search for extra libs, tool kits and such but then got
overwhelming i found - gnu, gcc, mingw32, cygwin, amulet and a bunch of
others. can i use all of these with djgpp? yes im some-what a newbie.

i also got 2 1/2 os's - lunix & windows98 +(dos), is it possible to
partition a section of drive say 16 bit in dos, and have windows(dos)
and lunix all feed off from that partition. so that way i don't have to
install or make on two other partitions. i don't think lunix has a c
compiler on it. or i could not find one. (dumb ass me)

and why is it that lunix can read windows file system yet windows can't
read lunix?
is there a patch file i can get a hold of to solve this.?
this is where i got my idea of having a separate partition for the
compiler.

i tried and could not figure out how to install gnu compiler in lunix
would you know how if i can't do the above.

i thank u much if you can answer some or yet all my questions. because
my drive is sure looking like my bedroom :)
