(dumb ass me) and why is it that lunix can read windows file system yet windows can't read lunix? is there a patch file i can get a hold of to solve this.? this is where i got my idea of having a separate partition for the compiler. i tried and could not figure out how to install gnu compiler in lunix would you know how if i can't do the above. i thank u much if you can answer some or yet all my questions. because my drive is sure looking like my bedroom :) albigore AT bellsouth DOT net
