You're asking the wrong people -- your question is in no way specific
to DJGPP or Allegro. This subject is covered in a different newsgroup:

	comp.graphics.algorithms

Look up their FAQ, or one of the books recommended by it. Or ask the
question there, if you can't understand the FAQ.
