If you liked Borland's editor, you'll probably like RHIDE.  It's
available with the rest of DJGPP.  (To forestall another post: if you
have problems with an error about "-lstdcx", see FAQ section 8.7.)

I personally like Emacs, though it does have a bit of a learning curve.
