With all due respect to its makers, IMHO the output of Babelfish may
be a lot of different things (comedy, parody, satire, maybe even
poetry), but it's usually far from being a translation of its
input. Put another way, it may be a translation, but the language it's
translated into is almost never the one it claims to be, and certainly
not the one written and spoken by human beings.

I don't think you're likely to be able to understand Babelfish output
correctly if you don't know enough English, or enough of the subject
matter to understand the original input, already. In which case,
obviously, you wouldn't have needed the Babelfish, to begin with.
