That's great. You're doing programming with DJGPP and
you're still in school.

You don't need Windows 98 to get to DJGPP. Just go to
the c:\djgpp from the MS-DOS prompt icon in the
"Programs" menu. Type RHIDE and it should go to the
"text editor" you're talking about.

I hope you also asked for RHIDE when you downloaded
DJGPP.

You can just use the menus there. That should help
you.
If you don't have RHIDE and would like to get a copy
of it (you must have one), just read the faq in
c:\djgpp\faq\djgppfaq.txt. You can use wordpad for
that.
