Sorry if this is stupid:
I'm using Win98. I get the following error msgs from RHIDE and GCC @
the DOS prompt:

c:\djgpp\bin>gcc c:\test.cpp
gcc.exe: installation problem, cannot exec 'cpp': No such file or
directory (ENOENT)

c:\djgpp\bin>gcc c:\test
gcc.exe: No such file or directory (ENOENT)

after moving test.cpp to \djgpp\bin and trying gcc test & gcc test.cpp I
had the same problems

I read in a previous message that this was due to unzipping
incorrectly. I used WinZip, which is capable of handling long
filenames, so I don't think this is the problem. I have already set the
environment and path and rebooted my computer(I've included the set at
the bottom). Any help?

As a side note, why for the love of God doesn't someone make an
installation program for this? Is it allowed?

Thanks, please reply to me personally as well as the newsgroup.
