I get the following error msgs from RHIDE and GCC @ the DOS prompt: c:\djgpp\bin>gcc c:\test.cpp gcc.exe: installation problem, cannot exec 'cpp': No such file or directory (ENOENT) c:\djgpp\bin>gcc c:\test gcc.exe: No such file or directory (ENOENT) after moving test.cpp to \djgpp\bin and trying gcc test & gcc test.cpp I had the same problems I read in a previous message that this was due to unzipping incorrectly. I used WinZip, which is capable of handling long filenames, so I don't think this is the problem. I have already set the environment and path and rebooted my computer(I've included the set at the bottom). Any help? As a side note, why for the love of God doesn't someone make an installation program for this? Is it allowed? Thanks, please reply to me personally as well as the newsgroup. c:\djgpp\bin>set CONFIG=WIN95 TMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP TEMP=C:\WINDOWS\TEMP WINBOOTDIR=C:\WINDOWS COMSPEC=C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND.COM BLASTER=A220 I5 D1 T4 MSINPUT=C:\MSINPUT PATH=C:\DJGPP\BIN;C:\WINDOWS;C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND;C:\PROGRA~1\BORLAND\CBUILD~1\BIN DJGPP=C:\DJGPP\GNU\GCC-2.81\DJGPP.ENV WINPMT=$P$G PROMPT=[Windows 95] $P$G windir=C:\WINDOWS CMDLINE=more
