It has its moments. There are links to tutorials and a fairly recent
list of other links at the above site. If you are primarily interested
in games, go directly to DirectX.

assuming the other machine is running Win95 or greater. Win3.1 is
something else. djgpp, mingw32, cygwin, and lcc-w32 all depend on .dll's
that are part of the Win OS distro.

otherwise, no. no DOS, no Linux, no AIX, etc etc.
