I think that too. But I use strip.exe instead.

Then don't use -s!!! I recomend you to use Rhide without -S. It will
instantly tell you where the errors occured. It helps debugging a lot.

Yep. You're already using protected mode if you compile with DJGPP. It has
no 640k limit.
