A year ago is about when gcc 2.8.1 came out. It fixed exceptions and
provided some improvement to template instantiation but still had trouble
with template instantiation if two source files used a common template
instantiation. There were workarounds but these were iffy and usually
unsatisfactory. Namespaces were still unsupported.

I was asking if any new gcc is out that improves these issues. Particularly
template instantiation. Is there a gcc 2.8.2 or higher in the works?
