It fixed exceptions and provided some improvement to template instantiation but still had trouble with template instantiation if two source files used a common template instantiation. There were workarounds but these were iffy and usually unsatisfactory. Namespaces were still unsupported. I was asking if any new gcc is out that improves these issues. Particularly template instantiation. Is there a gcc 2.8.2 or higher in the works? -- .*.
