Eli: In looking over some old messages I see this.
You say--

>..................................... from Bash (I run it from the
command.com prompt).

Do you prefer to run BASH from command.com?
So do I, but only because of the convenience. BASH works well without
command.com except, of course, when I exit, then DOS finds command.com
someplace.

I have no reason at present to run BASH without command.com except as an
experiment. What I would like to do for the moment is just IMITATE what you
do with this. So just so I am sure, you prefer as a rule to run BASH over
command.com, right? It's important to me.

Sometime later maybe this won't seem to be such a silly question.

Ralph
