I seem to remember something about a problem with cwsdpmi not being able
to manage swap space across multiple applications. I don't know if this
was ever enhanced (I won't call it a bug requiring fixing) to allow
multiple apps to share the swap space. This would inhibit running large
applications ( those requiring more memory than is physically available )
in the bash shell. Personally I would love to see an actual command.com
replacement of bash. Under win95 I almost strictly use bash as my
operations shell, switching to command.com after I am sure an application
won't accept bash.
