Hello Programmers,
I've downloaded lots of information on using interrupts in DJGPP
but most of the examples merely illustrate using one for a counter.
I want to execute a function which uses putpixel while a sprite can
still
be moved with the arrow keys. ALLEGRO's install_int function
only illustrates using a counter.
I have the book "Programming Computer Games In C" by Robert
S. Marmelstein which explains the _dos_setvect function and ISRs but
that only works in MS-DOS real mode. The code in this book requires
an early version of Visual C++ which is capable of developing MS-DOS
applications with graph.h. Fortunately, the "Visual C++ Programmer's
Starter Kit" includes a Windows 3.1 CD-ROM with the necessary version
of the compiler! However, I don't want to abandon DJGPP and ALLEGRO
for something else unless I have to.
