IMHO Wolfenstein 3d contains too much 16-bit assembler to make porting
easy; besides the sound system got left out.

Try Gabor Nagy's work:

There's no assembler,it compiles clean under DJGPP, runs fast, and looks
good too. Better than Wolfenstein, more like Doom with orthogonal walls.
