Sure.  It can be done without too much work.

No.  You would need to recompile gcc from source to target the 68K.  You
would also
need to rebuild both the assembler and linker to target the 68K.  I think
the 68K is specifically mentioned
in the faq.  If not feel free to contact me via private email for help
rebuilding if needed.
