I've been having problems using VESA 2.0 graphics modes under a Windows
95 DOS box. I can use them fine from a clean DOS boot though. It only
happens with djgpp programs such as Allegro's test program, my graphics
code, and some others. Quake and other VESA 2.0 programs work fine. I
can use VESA 1.2, and ModeX and VGA modes fine, with almost any lib. The
crashes sometimes lock the whole system up, or will just mess the system
palette or video modes up, causing me to reboot, or deal with ugly
screens.
