Subject: qhead.h changes, pow*_vec.c and weird source lines
Reply-To: djgpp-workers AT delorie DOT com

Hello.

Pardon the new subject, etc., but when I hit reply to your mail, it crashes my
mail client.

Anyway, I posted the source file where the sources were mixed up with those
"qlog singularity error" lines. Those lines were from pow_vec.c, which is a
generated file. Somehow the "qlog singularity error" messages are being
written to the source file.

I don't know how they appear in the source file. All I know at the moment is:

With your qhead.h change: "qlog ... error" lines appear in sources
Without your qhead.h change: sources don't have these lines

(BTW I'm not trying to be confrontational. I'm just trying to be clear.)

I wish I had more time to investigate right now, but I don't. Maybe next
weekend...although I'll probably try to make an official package of Perl 5.8.0
then.

Bye, Rich =]
