This is a bug fix release of the DJGPP port of GNU gdbm 1.8.0.
The library will open and create now all database files in binary mode
and handle paths in the correct way allowing mixed slash and backslash
directory separators and checking for a colon as drive letter separator
in the path. For a full list of the changes made, please inspect the diffs
file located in the djgpp subdir. It contains a djgpp specific changelog.
The opening of the database files in text mode instead of binary mode
in the previous port has been a very serious bug making the old port
completely useless.
This implies that it is *seriously* suggested to every user who wants
to seriously use gdbm in his applications to update to this package.
This package also includes the binaries: conv2gdbm.exe, testdbm.exe,
testndbm.exe and testgdbm.exe that will allow the user to test database
files of different formats (dbm, ndbm and gdbm) and convert them to gdbm.
