IMHO the palette used in Duke Nukem 3D is a local optimum
in smoothness, completion, rich colours etc.
An improved version is @ http://members.xoom.com/gdemont/e3d.htm
I've swapped 2 dégradés to make them contiguous (blue-metal).
Just steal the palette from a thumbnail image on that page,
or from the source (palette.ads)
