Hello. moshe wrote: > when i'm compiling simple program with the new lsock lib (v074 beta > 3), after the -s switch i get HUGE files of about 550k btw the lib file > is about 1.5 meg does some1 have any idea how to reduce this file size? The library is 1.5MB with debugging information. Without debugging information it's a lot smaller. I can't remember how much smaller, probably ~400KB-500KB. You can't really get it much smaller than that, I'm afraid. It's a big beastie ;) 550KB for a program is quite small compared to most Windows networking programs.
