Ok, but I think you could coordinate efforts with:
<p><IMG SRC="wb.gif" alt="*" Width=14 Height=14> <a

objects for all widgets based on <A HREF="l5.html#allegro">Allegro</a> 2.2, 256
colors with palette converter, builtin gif support, 3d look, screen shots on the
web page. A hello world program needs 9 lines. Sources.</p>
I creates a Windows 95 GUI style on top of Allegro (you can get or share
routines and sprites).
<P><IMG SRC="wb.gif" alt="*" Width=14 Height=14> <A

<A HREF="l5.html#allegro">Allegro</A> GUI objects, plus a GUI builder program.
It produces a very pretty interface. Now version 1.21 available.</P>
It also redefines the d_xxxx routines to create a better look and can be used
just to make what you want. So perhaps you can make your code like an add-on
for DEGUI or something similar.
Just some ideas.
