Chapter 22.16 of the FAQ discusses the zoneinfo directory in detail, so
I won't retype it all here. Basically, 'zoneinfo' stores information
about all the world's time zones so your programs can calculate the
correct relative time. DJGPP includes a set of functions for using
timezones; see the libc docs. Most programs don't need the timezone
data; unless you think you might, you can safely delete the files.
(They are in djdev201.zip if you ever need them again.)
