Does anyone have any examples about it ..? Chapter 22.16 of the FAQ discusses the zoneinfo directory in detail, so I won't retype it all here. Basically, 'zoneinfo' stores information about all the world's time zones so your programs can calculate the correct relative time. DJGPP includes a set of functions for using timezones; see the libc docs. Most programs don't need the timezone data; unless you think you might, you can safely delete the files. (They are in djdev201.zip if you ever need them again.) For more detail, I recommend reading the FAQ. -- --------------------------------------------------------------------- | John M.
