Personally, if djgpp was not free, i'd pay huge money to have it... (unlike watcom, which I don't even want, if it was free...) Face it, VC++ and DJGPP occupy different domains... VC++ is best for MS-Win Programming, while DJGPP is best at EVERYTHING else...
