A goal, yes.  But it will take hundreds of hours of someone's time.  Someone
needs to volunteer who has many months of free programming time to dedicate
to the task.  The person who really needs extra speed, extra memory, or DPMI 
1.0 features will be the one who does it.

CWSDPMI isn't going away.  If I get time I might fix a couple of minor things.
But I don't have the time or need for a complete rewrite.  When people have
needed fixes in the past I have provided recompiled binaries (when they didn't
have a tcc/bcc/tasm setup).  For example, twice I have provided binaries which
would handle 256Mb and 1Gb of virtual memory.  But it would really be nice
if someone would do the rewrite :-)
