Well, I played with it more, and I now learned 4 points are enough.
I just thought if I had more points, I'd have better points, but I guess I can do
fine by telling calc_spline() the number of points I need.

Well, first of all, the reason I posted here, was because I didn't make up the
splines functions. It was from Allegro. So, I had a certain right to post here.
Next, I don't know jack about splines, and I figured I'd get a proper reply from
this group. And I did.
