Hello,
I get the error as in the subject.
I have read the FAQ, which states:
8.18 Linker fails for large object files or large libraries
A: ld.exe from GNU Binutils 2.7 (which comes with DJGPP v2.01)
doesn't have most of these problems, but there are still
some cases where you might see such messages.
I have DJGPP v2.01 (even with ld-2.8.1 !!)
BTW. This happened when I was compiling cc1 from gcc-2.7.0
This one is about 2.7 megs
I have a 486-dx2-66 with 16mb, at leat 200mb free hd for my swap,
so it can't be the memory, IMO.
Has anyone an idea of how to solve this?
Hardware solutions like: get more memory, or: switch to linux
are no possibilities, cause I'm stuck with my corporate PC with
my corporate win95.
Any help appreciated! (prefable by email)
