Well, this I can only think of one possible reason why: Windows95.
With the MS pushing Win95 and their X-stuff, most of the newer games
coming out are for Win95. Not to put down DJGPP, but since DJGPP is a
DOS-only compiler, and Watcom does support Win32 that would seem give
Watcom a slight Edge.
