No, check out CosmoGL. It outperforms Direct3D by a mile, and more
importantly, isn't a complete pain in the ass to code. If your using
software rendering, use CosmoGL, if your using hardware, use OpenGL that
comes with Win95b or NT. Of course, Cosmo is in beta, and I am buggered
if I can get it to successfully create a pointer to the pixel format I
want... :)
