Hello,
I just downloaded the latest version of djgpp (2.01) with emacs. I enjoy
it, it's very powerful. However, I encoutered a lot of difficulites
because I unpacked the files with Winzip 6.2; The problem is that winzip
recognize long names (above 8 letters ) and unstuff the files with
thoses names, but in dos sessions, the filenames are still in the old
format. So, files with name like "makefile" are cheged to "makefi~1". It
becomes very hazardous to compile, and to run emacs for example.
I write it to you so you can warn it onto the following releases of
djgpp. It has to be written in great letters!
Thank you, Eric Devolder.
