I enjoy it, it's very powerful. However, I encoutered a lot of difficulites because I unpacked the files with Winzip 6.2; The problem is that winzip recognize long names (above 8 letters ) and unstuff the files with thoses names, but in dos sessions, the filenames are still in the old format. So, files with name like "makefile" are cheged to "makefi~1". It becomes very hazardous to compile, and to run emacs for example. I write it to you so you can warn it onto the following releases of djgpp. It has to be written in great letters! Thank you, Eric Devolder. -- +--------------------------------------------+----------------------------------------------------------+ | Name: Eric Devolder | Tel: +32 10 42 02 99 (direct line) | | At : Socolab s.a. - Diagnostics Division | Fax: +32 10 42 02 84 | | Addr: 19 Rue de la Station | email: eric DOT devolder AT bigfoot DOT com | | | cserve: 106003,1676 | | B-1300 Limal - Belgium | URL: http://users.skynet.be/ericdevo | | | http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/E_Devolder | +--------------------------------------------+----------------------------------------------------------+ ------------11BC5ABD184E0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/html; charset=us-ascii
