irc is the Internet Relay Chat. I'm currently signed onto
irc.openprojects.net as 'lifeless' just /msg me once you are logged on.
Precise instructions: download any irc program. These days most come
with irc.openprojects.net already listed. If it doesn't, add a new
server 'irc.openprojects.net' address 'irc.openprojects.net' port 6667.
Connect to that server.=20
Your program will display a terminal-like window, with a text entry line
at the bottom. In that line type=20
/msg lifeless Pierre here.
And I'll assist from there.
icq is an instant messaging program - www.icq.com. I prefer IRC though
for this sort of thing.
