What is irc/icq anyway? > I have a hard stop in 45 minutes but time available Monday eve. irc is the Internet Relay Chat. I'm currently signed onto irc.openprojects.net as 'lifeless' just /msg me once you are logged on. Precise instructions: download any irc program. These days most come with irc.openprojects.net already listed. If it doesn't, add a new server 'irc.openprojects.net' address 'irc.openprojects.net' port 6667. Connect to that server.=20 Your program will display a terminal-like window, with a text entry line at the bottom. In that line type=20 /msg lifeless Pierre here. And I'll assist from there. icq is an instant messaging program - www.icq.com. I prefer IRC though for this sort of thing.
