The orignal name of main source is `tetex-beta-20001218':
what I mean is that the date does correspond to the date of the source.
The latest one is `tetex-beta-20011202' which available
from CTAN: I guess I have to build it,
but this operation should take some time
and the 'list' asked me to rebuid the current cygwin package before that this new source was available.
Hence the name `tetex-beta-20001218-2' for the latest
cygwin tetex package.

May I renamed the cygwin tetex package `tetex-betat-20001218-20020112-1' ?

Thanks,
Jerome
