That particular 486 is considered quite a rare CPU IIRC.  I haven't
encountered a 486 with so much RAM either.

The RAM must make W98 tolerable, but i admit i'd not generally
consider having 9x on anything less than a pentium - not so much for
the OS, which can go along ok, but for the 32 bit Windows apps.
