I also designed a number of 80386 motherboards, using our new CAD
software and the libraries I converted. This involved everything,
including selecting the chipsets, creating the schematics, mechanical
CAD for the motherboard itself, placing the components, routing the
traces, manual routing corrections, proto-fab, soldering the parts to
the board, debugging the board, and writing the BIOS firmware. They
didn't let me pick the paint color, though.
