Bug 000372

When Created: 05/16/2005 11:31:19
Against DJGPP version: 2.04a1
By whom: lucho@cosmodata.com.br
Abstract: Program compiled with SSE doesn't work in pure DOS mode
After 2 failed attempts to write you at djgpp@delorie.com, here's my bug report:

Hello from Bulgaria :) The problem I'd like to report is
relatively simple. If I turn on the compiler SSE support
the resulting executable works in a Windows DOS box, but
crashes with "Invalid instruction" in plain DOS. Turning
CPU SSE support on solves the issue. I enclose a 36-byte
COM file that turns SSE on. It's written by a colleague.
As to SSE2/3 I can't test them as I don't have such CPU.

Thank you for your great DJGPP!
Best regards, Luchezar Georgiev
