Bug 000087

When Created: 06/06/1996 09:23:10
Against DJGPP version: 2.00
By whom: osv@ashtech.msk.ru
Abstract: Make crashes computer.
When I invoke 'make clean' in gcc-2.7.2 source directory, 'make' crashes the computer just before exiting. It produces general protection fault with QEMM8.0 DPMI and just hangs with 'cwsdpmi' installed. The same version of 'make' compiled with older DJGPP (1.x) works as predicted.
Note that 'make clean' never works fine on my DOS mashine, because NDOS (v.7.0) doesn't recognize UNIX shell syntax, but I got no crashes before DJGPP v2.00.

Since DJ obviously is able to compile gcc with Make 3.75, I move
to close this bug report.

Closed on 04/13/1999 08:00:06: Irreproducible problem (test case works for me).
