I know this is not my hardware, since my hardware is known to be very stable and compilers never crash. I fixed a little glitch in PGCC with mmx that was posted on this list earlier. Here are the switches: gcc -O6 -march=k6 -fexpensive-optimizations -fforce-addr -malign-double -funroll-loops -mstack-align-double -mmx When removing -mmx from the above options everything goes fine, and compile is completed. Any ideas? utah-glx can be gotten from sourceforge.net.
