I tried installing the rpms, I had to use the --force --ignorearch flags. Most of the ./configure scripts tell me checking for gcc... gcc checking whether the C compiler (gcc ) works... no configure: error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables. make gives this error: gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1': No such file or directory Now I know pgcc works, because I was able to compile Eterm (took 10mins instead of 25), however I had to specify the host type with the configure script. This is the second email (I lost the connection, and netscape froze) The first one was much nicer. thanks in advance Gavin Lang glang AT hotkey DOT net DOT au
