An odd place ?! gnu gcc goes through no problem. make[1]: Entering directory `/home/mlarch/ispell-3.1/languages/american' make[1]: *** No rule to make target `Use_LANGUAGES_from_config.X'. Stop. make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/mlarch/ispell-3.1/languages/american' make: *** [all] Error 2 Anyway, didn't see it listed any where so I thought I'd mention it. I'm a linux box ;-) Here is an uname -a: Linux ljapunov 2.0.34 #5 Sun Nov 29 07:37:56 EST 1998 i686 unknown I used gnu gcc to get ispell built so there is no panic.
