Your steps-to-follow are good, but if you add "listen if others have to same problem too", you will find that many solve themselves. Quote from original message/flame (not by me): >>>> Wenn Du was zu sagen hast oder Hilfe brauchst dann subskribiere diese >>>> Mailing List. Ansonsten shut up! Translated: If you've got something to say or need help then subscribe to the mailinglist. Otherwise shut up! He may have put it a bit too blunt, but he WAS right. 2) "The Post here read here" referred specifically to the idea of CC answers. (see the note about that in my previous post) Something I didn't bring up in the previous message 'cos it had nothing to do with pgcc or the mailinglist itself: People who post on Usenet and say "please CC your reply as I don't read this newsgroup" will NEVER get a reply from me. Not because I think they are impolite (I do think that but that wouldn't stop me from answering them), but simply because I CAN'T. So please people, DON'T do it. 3) (Not sure about this one) Wasn't it mentioned on the homepage that the patch was severly broken? Greetings, Gian-Carlo
