Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Reply-To: pgcc AT delorie DOT com I patched the full source of egcs-1.1.1 with the file provided on your site and I compiled/installed pgcc without problems. I recompiled some utilities like ddd, it's working good, BUT... 1) It appears that any program compiled with -O6 -pg (so full optimized and profiled) dies immediatly (on RedHat Linux 5.1 running on PC Pentium II 300 MHz + 128 Mb Ram) Is it normal ? This is not blocking of course, but it may hide something nasty. 2) I tried to install xlisp-2.1g There's no problem with standard egcs-1.1.1 With pgcc, the core compilation works well, but the install process crashes during compilation of the byte code compiler PGCC-ly yours, Jacques Leroy (jle AT star DOT be)
